Summary
Maybe the title seems exaggerated, but this week's posts converged on this theme. Increasing your value or worth either as a business, an entrepreneur, or as an individual. As always, there are LinkedIn Observations and a Round-up of this week's #PostitStatistics series. I have included a few posts from people who took my Post-it or Video challenge (unwittingly?) Hope you all have a wonderful Saturday!

It became one of those information-sharing weeks for me without actually intending to do that! Had a fantastic LinkedIn Live #GetHired2025 Event with John Brandon Elam and Adam DeJans Jr (you can watch the video below).

This week my computer decided that enough was enough (or maybe it was I that decided that based on multiple meetings where I had trouble even hearing people). Anyway, hours after hours of researching my options and viable solutions, I finally got a new laptop and then the hours I had to spend on reinstalling all my statistical software, security protocols, etc. I think it's all finally set up!
LinkedIn Observations for This Week
LinkedIn keeps proving week after week that reliance on the algorithm is the absolute worst way to grow on this platform. What matters is how you interact, with whom you interact, how frequently you interact, and what content you create out there. It's not an overnight advertising platform and if you "post-and-ghost", your posts might never get any visibility or traction.
Remember if your post is seen by the very people you're trying to help with your content, the number of impressions doesn't matter. I receive many DMs from people who have found value in my posts... none of that actual "impact" gets "seen" in the metrics. So, of course, while the metrics help you to identify how many people have glanced at your post, they don't represent your impact.
So, keep posting consistently. Bring your innate value to the table.
Last week, I had presented a challenge to everyone on creating either a video post or a Post-it. Here are a few folks that took it on:

This Week in Review
Started the week out with a new 3-D style of drawing experiment to show the importance of standing out. Discussed types of mergers on Monday, in the context of various deals being made across the world. Spent the focus on Tuesday discussing the NVIDIA and stock panic. On Wednesday and Thursday, I focused the entrepreneurial mindset and growth.
Every Friday, I try to make posts primarily for individuals who are seeking to grow in their careers by either finding a job or switching their jobs. #GetHired2025. This week's post was about using the GET HIRED acronym to find work, grow your career, and expand your business.
DISCLAIMER: My daily Post-it series only presents a snapshot of the possibilities that are out there. They are not designed to be comprehensive solutions. For folks who want to implement models or data analysis or improve their own businesses using any of these concepts, I am only a DM away! Links to all posts for this week are given below.
Post-it Statistics Round-up for This Week
Panicked About Tech Stocks?
Is Deep Seek going to destroy US Tech? What happens now to the GenAI industry?
Are You an Employee or Entrepreneur at Your SMB?
With RTO policies and WFH preferences colliding, it is more important now to consider options in terms of working for another company or deciding work at your own SMB.
What is Your Entrepreneurial Ability?
Entrepreneurship is a mindset, not a title. If you're considering risks of doing business, figuring out optimal combination of resources, keeping a constant eye on the returns on investments, and making decisions to extract the highest level of profits, you have an entrepreneurial ability that you can leverage well.
Do You GET it?
If you're looking to hashtag#GetHired2025 or to grow your business or career this year, take a deep breath and Give Everything Time! In my usual style of leaning into acronyms, I wanted to use the word HIRED to highlight the factors that we should consider as we grow.
